KKBS organized an international student development program in tourism management in Taiwan.
Recently, the Bachelor of Business Administration program in Tourism Innovation Management (English Program) at the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, organized the “International Student Development in Tourism Management” project in Taiwan. The aim of this initiative was to provide students with academic and professional learning experiences, develop skills applicable to both their studies and future career paths, as well as to forge strong international academic collaborations. This effort is intended to enhance the quality of KKBS graduates, enabling them to become significant contributors to the global service and tourism industry.
This activity aimed to enhance the students’ skills, knowledge, and experience through academic activities that align with the core courses of the curriculum. These include logistics management and passenger transportation in the tourism industry, principles of tour guiding, tour planning and management, airline business administration, as well as other subjects related to tourism management. Moreover, students had the opportunity to gain real-world experience from exemplary tourism businesses, key tourist attractions, and foreign educational institutions specializing in tourism management, such as tourism systems, transportation systems, and tourist site management. This enables students to effectively apply their knowledge in practical settings.
This project was held under the academic cooperation between the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, and the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at National Chi Nan University (NCNU), Taiwan, a leading institution in tourism management. This collaboration not only provided opportunities for students to exchange in-depth learning experiences but also served as an important platform for expanding academic knowledge. It plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of the faculty’s curriculum to meet international standards.
