KKBS Hosts “HOT SHOWCASE 2025: The Pathway to Your Dreams” — Inspiring Future Careers in Hospitality and Event Management
On October 11, 2025, the Bachelor of Business Administration Program in Hospitality and Event Management from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, organized the curriculum launch and Workshop titled “HOT SHOWCASE 2025: THE PATHWAY TO YOUR DREAMS.” This event highlighted the important steps towards one’s dreams, aiming to enhance practical learning in Hospitality and Event Management , disseminate academic work, and promote the program. It also provided an opportunity for interested students to discover inspiration, career paths, and learn from esteemed professionals in the service and event industry. The event was honored by Dr.Pongphan Sathatip, Associate Dean for Industrial Relations and Sustainability, who presided over the opening ceremony, alongside faculty members from Hospitality and Event Management program.

The event included guidance on the Hospitality and Event Management program by Assistant Professor Dr. Akkhaporn Kokkhangplu and Assistant Professor Dr. Porramate Jaratmetakul, lecturers of the program. This was followed by a panel discussion on “Applying Knowledge from the Program to Business Practice,” featuring alumni who have successfully established careers to share their real-life experiences. The panel included Ms.Kesiri Srinah, HR and Culture Officer at Avani Khon Kaen Hotel, Mr.Sitthiphon Phunyanon, Chef Owner of Organt, and Mr.Chatdanai Kosavisuth, Co-Founder of Brooklyn Bar (Khon Kaen), who shared their work experiences and inspiration for achieving success. Additionally, the event featured practical Workshops with three stations: a Mocktail Workshop for creative beverage mixing, Hotel Roleplay to practice service skills in simulated scenarios, and Event Playground, a creative space for actual event design. There was also an exhibition of student works, including 3D modeling, miniature museums, table setting, room booking, and decorative fabric folding, reflecting the students’ skills and creativity in the program.

The “HOT SHOWCASE 2025” event marks another significant step in driving innovative learning at the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy at Khon Kaen University. It aims to empower students to enhance their knowledge and professional skills, becoming graduates with professionalism and social responsibility, in alignment with the PRIME values of the faculty.
