The Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy (Khon Kaen Business School) at Khon Kaen University extends congratulations to its students for bringing distinction to the Faculty through their participation in the business feasibility plan competition, which focuses on research commercialization. This event was part of the “Research to Market: R2M#13 Thailand Round” project, held from February 20–21, 2569 (2026 CE) at the Southern Region Science Park in Songkhla Province.

The competition featured 22 student teams from 16 educational institutions across the country, who presented their business plans and demonstrated their ability to leverage research findings for commercial benefit. The students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy at Khon Kaen University achieved the following recognition:

Commendation Award for the team “Por Krub, Pom Yak Pen Miss Grand (Daddy, I Want to Be Miss Grand)” which received a trophy and a prize of 5,000 Thai Baht. The team members, majoring in Marketing Technology from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, include:

Their research project was based on: Liquid Toothpaste, researched by Clinical Professor Suwimol Tawichaisuphaphong, Ph.D., Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University, and Clinical Professor Watcharee Kunnukit, Ph.D., Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Khon Kaen University.

This competition highlights the potential of students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University (KKBS), in conducting business feasibility analyses and developing effective business models from research outcomes. Participation in the 13th R2M event is not merely a national-level competition but also a crucial process for nurturing students to become Innovation-driven Entrepreneurs. These entrepreneurs are capable of transforming research knowledge into tangible commercial applications, thereby enhancing the value of research and sustainably strengthening the nation’s competitive capabilities in the long term.
