On March 14, 2026, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy (Khon Kaen Business School), led by Asst. Prof. Pongsutti Phuensane, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, along with administrators and staff, participated in the 9 Economic Organizations of Khon Kaen Province Sports Day. This event aimed to foster positive relationships among public and private economic entities in Khon Kaen Province and was held at the Pod Duek Room, Bank of Thailand, Northeastern Regional Office.

The aforementioned activity was organized to strengthen relationships between government agencies, private sectors, and economic organizations in Khon Kaen province through various sports activities, including recreational games, foosball, darts, and pétanque. These activities provided opportunities for broad participation among attendees, coupled with inter-organizational networking and exchange, which fostered mutual understanding, trust, and the establishment of robust local collaborative networks.



The network of 9 economic organizations in Khon Kaen Province comprises the Bank of Thailand Northeastern Regional Office, the Khon Kaen Chamber of Commerce, the Khon Kaen Tourism and MICE Association, the Khon Kaen Provincial Industry Council, the Khon Kaen Banking Club, the Alumni Association of the Graduate School of Management (MBA) at Khon Kaen University, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy at Khon Kaen University (KKBS), the Faculty of Economics at Khon Kaen University, and the Federation of Thai SMEs Association Region 5 (FA SME C5).

Participation in this event underscores the role of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy as an academic institution dedicated not only to producing high-quality graduates but also to fostering collaboration with various sectors. This collaborative effort aims to sustainably and robustly drive the economic growth of Khon Kaen Province in the long term.
