Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University (KKBS), has officially been accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), a globally recognized accrediting body for business and accounting education. This achievement underscores KKBS’s standing as a leading institution with academic standards recognized internationally.
This milestone marks the first time an educational institution in Thailand’s Northeastern region has received AACSB accreditation, and positions KKBS as the ninth institution in Thailand to attain this world-class distinction. Globally, fewer than 6% of business schools across more than 70 countries have earned AACSB accreditation, making it a widely respected hallmark of quality in business education.
KKBS became an AACSB member in 2018 and has pursued accreditation through a structured and continuous process, culminating in a successful final review. This accomplishment reflects the strong foundation established under Associate Professor Pensri Dr. Jaroenwanit, former Dean of the Faculty, and the continued commitment of the current leadership team led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pongsutti Phuensane.
