Message from the Dean on the occasion of welcoming new students for the academic year 2025
On behalf of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, or KKBS, we warmly welcome all new students for the academic year 2025 to our university, with great joy and pride. “KKBS” serves as a learning space dedicated to producing high-quality graduates ready to face the changing business world, under the vision that states “KKBS is a Premier Business School Focused on Industrial Integration for Sustainable Economic Development, a leading business institute that emphasizes the integration of knowledge and innovation with the industrial sector for sustainable economic development.” This cohort is considered the 62nd cohort or the 62nd Kha-lap-suk (Khon Kaen Business School) cohort. If counting just KKBS, it is the 10th cohort, or the 42nd if continuing from the initial era when business administration courses were offered in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. It subsequently transitioned to the Faculty of Management Sciences and eventually became the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy as it is today. The Faculty is still committed to enhancing the curriculum and learning formats to align with the needs of the modern business sector by promoting hands-on learning experiences through practical training in workplaces, collaborative learning with both domestic and international experts, and integrating essential technologies such as AI, Data Analytics, and Digital Platforms into the teaching content. Additionally, the Faculty has supportive learning resources that facilitate the development of students’ potential in all dimensions, including libraries, computer laboratories, KKBS Café studio rooms, and the Career Excellence Development Center (KKBS CEC), to provide opportunities for students to think critically, analyze, take action, and grow into graduates equipped with both Hard Skills and Soft Skills, ready to meet the challenges of a business world full of uncertainties, confidently adapting to the transformations of the digital age. Finally, we invoke Phor Mordin Daeng to protect and bless all new students with success in their studies. Should there be any queries or concerns, all faculty members and staff are ready to provide care and guidance, standing by the students at all times. We encourage students to make the most of their time at the university, to keep an open mind in learning new things, to think systematically, and to take creative actions.
