Students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy at Khon Kaen University have gained national recognition by winning the first prize and honorable mention at the 9th National Quiz Competition on Tourism, Hospitality, and Aviation Business, held in the year 2568 (2025) under the title “GSTM NEXT 2025.” The theme of this competition was “Smart Tourism and Soft Power Synergies: Advancing Sustainable Development through Cross-Sector Collaboration,” which took place on September 9, 2568 (2025), organized by the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Arkhaporn Kokkhangphlu, a faculty member in the bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, specializing in Service Business and Event Management, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Maethaawin Plahoythi, Dr. Jinnapats Dominic, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Raksmey Sann, also faculty members in the bachelor’s program in Business Administration, specializing in Innovation Management in Tourism.
The project’s objective was to develop the knowledge, skills, and enhance the potential of youth, students, and academic learners in Thailand’s tourism, hospitality, and aviation businesses. Additionally, it aimed to provide opportunities for presenting ideas and innovations to support creative tourism and sustainable development in Thailand, attracting over 1,500 participants or 364 teams from universities nationwide.
As a result of the competition, students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy at Khon Kaen University received the following awards:

First Prize – A scholarship worth 10,000 Baht, along with a trophy and certificate was awarded to
