KKBS students receive the SMBC Global Foundation Scholarship Program for the academic year 2024–2025.
On Friday, September 26, 2025, students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, were selected to receive the SMBC Global Foundation Scholarship Program for the academic year 2024–2025. The scholarship award ceremony took place in the meeting room of the International Affairs Division on the 4th floor of the Pimol Kogkij Building, Khon Kaen University. The ceremony was honored by Assoc. Prof. Pensri Jaroenwanit, Ph.D., Vice President for Student Affairs and Innovation Commercialization, who welcomed representatives from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) led by Mr. Norihiko Nakamura, Managing Director of the Bangkok Branch and Local Head of the Business Central Department, Asia Pacific Division, who attended to give speeches and encouragement to the scholarship recipients. Also participating in this scholarship award ceremony was Asst. Prof. Wilaiporn Paisarn, Assistant Dean for Student Development and Extracurricular Affairs, Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy.
In this event, two students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, received scholarships from the SMBC Global Foundation Scholarship Program as follows: 1) Mr. Panithan Lasunnan 2) Ms. Phawarin Heapkaew

This scholarship program is organized through a collaboration between Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Khon Kaen University to support educational opportunities for students who are dedicated to learning and possess the potential to develop themselves towards future success.
