Course Objectives and Desired Candidate Attributes
The program strives to equip students with the professional and essential skills to become future-ready and strategic accountants who can utilize information technologies to design and prepare financial reports in order to drive the business forward.
The program also aims to produce accountants who have realized professional ethics principles, lifelong learning concepts, and global citizenship characteristics.
Interested candidates should have background knowledge in mathematics, analytical thinking; ability to evaluate and organize information in order to detect patterns between datasets leading to creative solutions, digital skills, and good English communication skills as well as a good attitude towards the accounting profession.
Curriculum Insights
The Bachelor of Accountancy (International Program) is designed with a comprehensive curriculum divided into three key modules to prepare students for real-world challenges in the accounting profession. The first module, The Road to Rookie Entrepreneurship, focuses on developing creative marketing skills and basic business analytics. This module aims to equip students with the foundational knowledge required to formulate their own business plans, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset essential for navigating the modern business landscape.
The second module, Professional Business Partner, is dedicated to empowering graduates with a deep understanding of accounting data and its role in strategic decision-making. This module covers advanced topics such as cost and management accounting, corporate reporting analysis, and strategic management accounting. These subjects are critical in enabling students to analyze financial information effectively and contribute to business growth and sustainability.
The third module, Professional Skepticism and Digital Mindset, is structured to prepare students for the demanding role of Certified Public Accountants (CPAs). This module emphasizes the importance of critical thinking, ethical judgment, and technological adaptability in the accounting profession. Furthermore, students will explore courses on Accounting Information Systems and Design Risk, Internal Control and Internal Audit, Accounting Standards Concepts and Accounting Policy Development, as well as Audit and Assurance Services.

Note:
There are two semesters per academic year. The tuition fee covers library charges, computer services, and sports services. The fees are in accordance with the Khon Kaen University announcement (Number 962/2563) for undergraduate programs taught in English and the international program.
